Commercial Recording - Dallmeier, DM, Panasonic, Sanyo, and Special Imports. Hard disk based specialist digital recording units from the above manufacturers are designed for optimum ease of use without any specialist training. These units incorporate the functionality of an analogue VCR and multiplexer as previously used within the industry. This ‘One Box’ solution provides constant image quality in playback and is only limited by the type of digital compression and hard disk capacity in performance. For small applications (up to 16 cameras) Videcom supply low cost imports which fulfil most requirements whilst also providing many of the highly desired functions such as CD Writers for image archiving and network ready connection. Proprietary brands provide high quality recording with sophisticated set ups per individual camera connected. For example, the implementation of motion detection, variable frame recording rates and time zones variable daily. All units are highly featured between manufacturers; CD / DVD archive writers, network connection and free user friendly software packages for remote PC connection are the norm. Public Area Recording Systems – “Enterprise”; Fast/Nice, Panasonic, Petards, Sanyo, Synectics, Tecton, Vicon, Visimetrics & Wavestore. Additionally some of these large systems are capable of recording at high refresh rates (for example 25 images per second per camera) for a specified period of one week automatically reducing to a lower refresh rate thereafter to save disk space. Where ‘resilience’ of the recording system is a specific requirement the introduction of duplicated recording of cameras for shorter durations than the traditional 31 day cycle can be accommodated using the latest generation ‘Real Time Digital Recorders’. Control Systems – Matrix Videcom major on two traditional switching matrix manufacturers, Meyertech and Synectics.
Workstation integration, provision of GUI touch screen control and our own software production of maps are designed and produced in-house. Virtual Matrix Virtual Matrix solutions by established matrix suppliers Meyertech and Synectics utilizing media monitor wall displays by Eyevis and Barco. IP camera only and analogue/IP hybrid input solutions from Bosch, Fast, Milestone and Pelco systems provide Virtual Matrix solutions incorporating embedded digital recording.
